Hommage to Pierre Boulez for his 90th birthday
On 13 September 2015, the Sinfonierochester Basel presents a special concert to honor Pierre Boulez in the year of his 90th birthday. The concert includes works by Boulez (Rituel in memoriam Bruno Maderna, Notations), Luciano Berio (Voci) and Edu Haubensak (Other Tones, world première).
As a prolgue, the Paul Sacher Foundation has initiated a round table talk, discussing Pierre Boulez's laeding role in the music of the last 60 years.
