The World of Microtonal Music – Wyschnegradsky and Others

From June 3 to September 22, 2019
A concert series by ZwischenZeit, Basel

The Basel association Zwischenzeit is dedicating its activities to microtonal music this year.

At the center of the project is the musical and visual work of the Russian composer Ivan Wyschnegradsky (1893-1979). His quarter-tone pianino, built in 1928 and owned by the Paul Sacher Foundation, was restored for this project and is now being played in public for the first time.
